This is a starting point, not a fixed package. Every trip I plan gets adjusted to your dates, pace, and budget — swap days, add rest time, or go deeper on any one leg. Think of this as a sample of how a Komodo route can come together, not a set menu.
Labuan Bajo
Fly into Komodo Airport and settle into Labuan Bajo, the gateway town and usual base for boat trips into the park.
Rinca Island
Trek Loh Buaya on Rinca Island for the best chance of an up-close (safe-distance) Komodo dragon encounter, plus resident deer and wild boar.
Padar Island
The three-bay viewpoint on Padar is the single most photographed spot in the park — go early to beat both the heat and the crowds.
Pink Beach and Manta Point
Snorkel the coral gardens off Pink Beach in the morning, then head to Manta Point for one of the more reliable manta ray encounters in Indonesia.
Gili Lawa or fly out
A last stop at Gili Lawa Darat for a final hike and sunset, or head straight to the airport depending on your flight time.
